"I just launched Roast & Review on SaaS Hive. It helps founders, job seekers, and creators solve the 'useless feedback' problem by getting anything they build brutally roasted and audited by 14 different AI personas. Would love your honest feedback or an upvote "

Welcome John! Welcome to the community! Could you drop the link to your SaaS Hive product page here? Makes it easier for everyone to check it out and leave feedback directly on your page.

Hey Brand! I tried the Roast & Review - fun tool. I wish the feedback was more constructive, though. And I think is some places the language was possibly French, not English, je ne sais pas.

Hey Olga! Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Unfortunately, the platform doesn't let me drop links in the comments here 😅. If you want to check it out and leave some feedback, just Google "roast & review" — it's the very first result. Would love to hear what you think!

Hey! Thanks a ton for actually taking it for a spin.

You're 100% right about the constructive feedback. Right now, the 'roast' persona is definitely too loud and overshadows the actual expert advice (the UX designer or recruiter). I need to tweak the balance so the actionable fixes are front and center, not lost after the joke.

Also, huge thanks for catching the French glitch ('Je ne sais pas' gave me a good laugh 😅). Being a French founder myself, it looks like the AI is occasionally leaking my native language into the prompts! I'm jumping into the system prompts right now to lock it to English.

The French leak is hilarious, at least now you know the AI picked up your personality. And yes, the expert feedback is the real value. The roast is fun for the first impression but the actionable fixes are what makes people come back. Good luck with the prompt tweaks!

Thanks Sergey! If you're feeling brave, drop a link to your latest project below and I’ll let the AI personas give it a quick roast right now.
or you can try it your self, here is the direct link: https://roast-and-review.com. Looking forward to your thoughts!

okay. Let's try 😅. My service is simplomail.com. It is a service that allows you to send email newsletter to your subscribers and it does not have any monthly subscription fees... I feel nervous already how much brutal your agents will roast my service 🤦🏻‍♂️

Haha, I love that you’re giving it a shot despite our earlier chat! 😂 Respect for the bravery. 'No monthly subscription fees' is a massive hook right now (people are so tired of SaaS fatigue), but the real test is if your landing page copy communicates that in 3 seconds. Go for it! And remember—look past the savage roast to find the 'marketer' and 'customer' personas. That’s where the constructive gold is. Report back! 👀

I did try. The overall score is 70. I guess it is not so bad 🙂

Love this concept! Founders need more honest feedback and less polite praise. Excited to see how this grows.

Congrats on the launch John! 🚀

Thanks so much! 'Less polite praise' is exactly the problem I'm trying to solve. We're all just flying blind with feedback from friends who are too nice. Really appreciate the support!

Congrats on the launch, John. The multi-persona angle is a smart way to make feedback feel less like one person's opinion and more like a panel weighing in. Curious how you picked the specific personas, did you start with the roles you personally wished you had access to, or did early testers ask for specific ones?

Fourteen personas is a lot of range to maintain without it turning into the same joke repeated in different voices. The blunt recruiter angle is probably the one that gets shared the most, since job seekers are usually starving for a straight answer instead of another vague rejection email. What has been the most useful piece of feedback the tool has generated on your own work so far?

    John Brad
    John Brad19d ago

Hey Stacy, great point on the 14 personas — honestly, we built a few that overlap more than I'd like. The recruiter one definitely punches above its weight in shares. That said, the "senior dev with 20 years experience" persona tends to generate the most actionable feedback — it's the one that actually makes people refactor their code or rethink their architecture, not just laugh.

As for my own work? The tool roasted our own landing page and the most painful (and useful) hit was: "You built an AI tool that helps people improve their websites, but your own hero section has no clear CTA above the fold." We fixed it within an hour. Nothing like getting roasted by your own product to keep you honest. 😅

John, the story about your own hero section missing a CTA above the fold is a great example of a tool being honest with its own builder first. That kind of self check is rare. I want to ask for a similar roast from a different direction. I am building FounderFlow, an AI Executive Chief of Staff that watches a founder's business, decides what matters, and tells them what to do next. Would you be willing to take an honest look at it and tell me straight where it falls short, the same way your own tool did for you?

    John Brad
    John Brad15d agoReply

"Thanks Stacy! To be completely honest, I did roast my own site—it's a painful but necessary process for every founder. However, I'm not going to manually roast FounderFlow for you. That’s exactly why I built the tool! If you want an honest look at where it falls short, just go to the site, drop your URL into the roast dashboard, and see what it says. Try it out and let me know what it catches."

Good app with potential, for sure. Yes, Parkspot Stockholm website was definitely roasted. Painful process but necessary :)
I really think your idea is great!

"Painful but necessary" is exactly the vibe I was going for! 😂 Thanks for being brave enough to roast Parkspot Stockholm, Lars. Really glad you see the potential in the concept. Appreciate the support!
