Getting Started with SaaS Hive
Everything you need to know before you launch.
SaaS Hive is a launch and discovery platform that helps SaaS founders announce their product to users who are actively searching for tools, browsing comparisons, reading reviews, and asking AI assistants for recommendations.
On launch day, your product gets featured. After launch day, SaaS Hive keeps working — surfacing your product in category rankings, "best tools for X" roundups, comparison pages, and AI recommendations from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
SaaS Hive is also a founder community. You join a network of builders who support each other's launches, share what they're learning, and help each other grow.
This guide covers:
What is SaaS Hive?
SaaS Hive is a launch and discovery platform that helps you announce your SaaS product to the people who are actually looking for it.
You've built something great. Now you need the right people to know it exists. SaaS Hive puts your product in front of users who are actively searching for tools in your category, browsing comparisons, reading reviews, and asking AI assistants for recommendations.
On launch day, your product gets featured to this audience. After launch day, SaaS Hive keeps working for you. It continues recommending your product to visitors based on their interests, surfacing it in category rankings, "best tools for X" roundups, and comparison pages.
Every product page on SaaS Hive is built with structured data that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can read. So when someone asks "what's the best email tool for founders," your product can be part of the answer.
And you're not doing this alone. SaaS Hive is also a founder community. You're joining a network of builders who support each other's launches, share what they're learning, and help each other grow.
Why Launch on SaaS Hive?
Because launching alone is hard. And launching on a platform that forgets about you after one day is even harder.
SaaS Hive is built around a community of SaaS founders who are all building, launching, and growing at the same time. When you join SaaS Hive, you're not posting into a void. You're joining a network of people who understand what you're going through — because they're going through it too.
Before you launch, you have time to connect with other founders, share what you're building, and build real relationships. These are people who can become your first reviewers, your first upvoters, your first users. They can recommend your product to their own networks. And on launch day, they show up for you, because you showed up for them.
That's something no directory or one-day launch platform gives you: a built-in community that has a reason to care about your success.
The value doesn't stop on launch day
After you launch, SaaS Hive keeps working for you. Your product page is optimized for search engines and built with structured data that AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can read and recommend.
The way people search for tools is changing fast. Over half of Americans now use AI assistants to find and compare software. ChatGPT alone processes billions of queries a day, and visitors who discover products through AI convert at significantly higher rates than traditional search traffic.
SaaS Hive's recommendation engine continues to surface your product to website visitors based on their interests, in category rankings, "best tools for X" roundups, and comparison pages. Your reviews keep building trust. Your ranking keeps improving. Every link anyone ever shared to your page keeps working forever.
The more reviews you collect, the more you engage, the more you keep your page updated, the more people find you. Launch day is your starting point. Everything after that compounds.
What Happens After Launch Day?
On most platforms, launch day is the peak. You get one day of visibility, and then the algorithm moves on.
SaaS Hive works differently. Launch day is your starting line, not your finish line.
After your launch, your product page stays public and keeps its permanent URL. Your ranking in category listings keeps improving as you collect more reviews, saves, and engagement. You continue to appear in roundup pages, comparison pages, and search results. And your structured product data keeps feeding AI models in the background, so you can be recommended to people who are searching for tools like yours.
A product that launched three months ago with 50 reviews will rank higher than a product that launched yesterday with 3. Time is on your side. The work you put in keeps paying off long after launch day.
What Do I Need to Do to Begin?
Getting started takes less than 10 minutes. Here's the path:
1. Create your product page. Go to "My Products" in your Founder Dashboard and start building. You'll fill in your product name, tagline, description, screenshots, features, pricing, and "Best For" tags. Your page starts out private, visible only to people you share the link with.
2. Write your founder bio. Go to "Founder Profile" in your sidebar. Add a personal bio, your social links, and tell people why you build what you build. This shows up in the "Meet the Team" section on your product page and on your public founder profile.
3. Read the Founder's Guide to Getting Discovered. Before you launch, read this guide. It walks you through every section of your product page and explains how to set it up for maximum discoverability by both humans and AI. It also covers how to collect reviews, how to engage with the founder community, and how to make the most of launch day.
4. Collect your first reviews. Share your private product page link with people who've used your product: beta testers, early users, friends, fellow founders. You need at least 3 reviews to unlock your launch. Aim for 10 or more. Every review you collect before launch is social proof that's already visible the moment your page goes public.
5. Join the founder community. Click "Founder Community" in the top right of your dashboard. Introduce yourself. Post an update about what you're building. Comment on other founders' posts. The people you connect with here become your launch day support network.
6. Launch. Once your product page is complete, you've collected at least 3 reviews, and you've participated in the community, you can schedule your launch. On launch day, your page goes public, your launch event goes live, and your product gets featured on SaaS Hive.
That's the whole path. Build your page, collect reviews, connect with founders, launch.
