The name Crazy Sajangnim comes from the Korean phrase “사장님이 미쳤어요,” which roughly translates to “The boss has gone crazy.” Korean stores often use this playful expression to promote discounts so large that the owner must be crazy to offer them. That familiar piece of Korean sale culture became the inspiration for the platform.
