Importance of customer feedback in product building

It is easy to start building around the idea of what customers want. But without real feedback from users, you may end up spending time on a feature that will not solve their real problems. When you know how people are using the product, what problems they are facing, and how the product is adding value to their lives can help build a better product. When feedback is real the improvements are real and make the product more reliable and worth choosing.

How do you collect feedback from your customers?

I create video courses and publish them on Udemy. When I need to make a decision what video course to create next, I send an email campaign to my learners with a question - What would you like to learn next? Give 3 options myself and the fourth one is always "Other - comment below" which allows them to tell me themselves.
So I ask questions from my target audience. And this is how I think should be done with any other product. Connect with your ICP and talk to them. Ask questions.
