Brand should tell the same story everywhere

The primary message should feel the same everywhere, so that people will not get different ideas about your brand. If there is very little difference, that is fine, but a completely different story conveys a new message and things will get messy.

Make sure website content, social media, and the sales team are moving on the same path.

As a brand, you need to have an identity. Using the same voice across all platforms, you won't have to introduce yourself each time you have a message to get across.

I agree. I try to keep my messaging consistent too, but there’s another part I pay attention to.

My SaaS products are always changing, so every now and then I go through my sites and check that the content, terms of use, and descriptions still match what the products actually do.

It’s easy for an old page or blog post to become outdated without you noticing. And I think this matters even more now that people use AI to discover products.

If your site sends mixed signals, it’s harder for both people and AI to understand what you actually offer.

So for me, it’s not just about social posts, it’s about the whole website and the product itself.
