Hi Saashive Community! I'm Natalie - Co Founder Of Zinn Hub Freelance Marketplace

Hi everyone! I’m Natalie, working with my husband Neil on Zinn Hub, a global freelance marketplace built around making freelance work fairer for both businesses and freelancers.

I’m involved in the day-to-day running of the office, marketing, content and growing Zinn Hub’s visibility online. We’re currently focused on expanding the platform internationally and connecting freelancers and businesses across languages and borders.

Looking forward to meeting other founders, sharing experiences and learning from what everyone else is building! 👋

Hi Natalie 🙋🏻‍♂️ Welcome to the community!

I am building SimploMail.com. It is a service for sending email newsletter(no subscription) and it also provides with business email address for as low as $1(https://inbox.simplomail.com).

I use upwork very often. Will keep in eye on you Zinn Hub as well. What does Zinn stand for? 🤔

Hi Sergey! 🙋‍♀️ Thanks for the welcome, and I really appreciate you keeping an eye on Zinn Hub. 😊
Zinn® is our trademarked term for a freelance “gig” or digital service. The freelancers offering them are Zinners®, and the buyers are Zinnectors®. So Zinn Hub is essentially where Zinners and Zinnectors connect.
I'll definitely check out SimploMail too. No-subscription email sounds interesting! 👍

Hi Natalie! Welcome to the community! I'm curious what "fairer" means in practice for Zinn Hub. Lower fees, better dispute handling, something else?

Hi Olga! Thanks for the warm welcome! 😊
For us, “fairer” is about more than just fees. Zinn Hub is designed to make freelancing more accessible and give freelancers and buyers a better deal overall.
That includes 0% commission on the first $500 in sales, followed by low, competitive fees, no buyer platform fees, instant payouts, multilingual support across 46+ languages, live language translation during calls, and real human support when you need it. We also use AI to help with things like creating listings and matching buyers with relevant freelancers.
We believe freelancers should be able to build their own brand and reputation, rather than building the platform’s. Your skills, work and reputation should belong to you.
The idea is that talented freelancers shouldn’t be held back by high platform costs, language barriers or complicated processes. So “fairer” is really about creating a marketplace that works better for both sides. 😊

I believe building the brand and reputation that does not depend on the platform is the strongest point for freelancers. Anyone can lower fees, but most platforms keep freelancers stuck by owning their reviews and ratings. How does it work on Zinn Hub, can freelancers take their reviews with them if they leave?

    That’s a really good question, Olga. 😊
Reviews on Zinn Hub® are tied to genuine transactions, so there’s a genuine transaction behind every review a Zinner® receives. They can’t simply upload or buy reviews, which means the reputation they build on the platform is based on actual work and real buyers.
We also thought about the practical side of reputation - if a Zinner® has built up a history of successful work, how do they actually take proof of that with them? You can’t simply export a marketplace review and take the transaction history with it, so we built downloadable achievement certificates into the Zinner® dashboard. Those give Zinners® something tangible and verifiable they can keep as proof of their achievements on Zinn Hub®.
Zinners® can also import genuine reviews they’ve earned on other marketplaces when they join Zinn Hub®. Those reviews are clearly marked as “Imported”, so it’s transparent that the work and transaction took place elsewhere — they aren’t presented as Zinn Hub® reviews.
Although, obviously, we’d hope our Zinners® wouldn’t want to leave us anyway! 😂
