Thank you so much for the thoughtful words and encouragement. That is exactly what I’m hoping to achieve with Berean — bringing together Scripture, biblical history, geography, original-language word studies, and different theological perspectives in one accessible place.
The goal isn’t to tell people what to believe, but to give them better tools to examine the evidence, understand different viewpoints, and ultimately make their own conclusions from Scripture.

Thanks for the question. This is something I was very intentional about when building Berean.
Berean is not really meant to lean towards one specific Christian tradition. There are so many different traditions and they can read the same scripture very differently.
The knowledge comes from Scripture, biblical reference material, original language resources, history and theological research. Where there are different views, the idea is to show the different perspectives side by side, rather than saying one is the correct one.
At the moment Berean has 20 different Christian traditions in the Denominational View. So you can look at what different traditions believe, where they agree, where they disagree and also some of the history behind those beliefs.
The whole idea actually comes from Acts 17:11, where the Bereans examined the Scriptures to see if what they were being told was true.
So for me the idea is pretty simple:
Study Scripture. Examine the evidence. Explore the traditions.
I dont want Berean to tell people what to believe. I want it to help people do more research and come to their own understanding.

That's very thoughtful, not telling people what to believe but focusing on the research and the shared historical sources. And naming it after the Acts passage makes sense now. I can see Berean being useful not just for Christians but for researchers and historians too.

Thank you, yes thats really the vision behind Berean.
I dont want Berean to tell people what they must believe, but rather give them the tools and information so they can look at the scriptures, history, manuscripts and different traditions for themself and make up their own mind.
The name comes from Acts 17:11, where the Bereans examined the Scriptures to see if what they were being taught was true. That idea of checking and researching things is really what I want Berean to be about.
Christians are obviously the main audience, but I also think there is a lot of value for researchers, historians and students who are interested in the history of Christianity and how different traditions and interpretations developed.
So yes, I would like Berean to be useful to anyone who wants to actually do the research and not just be told what to think.
