Is direct AI-agent integration a bonus or becoming essential?

We previously built our own MCP integration so GEO Tracker AI could connect with tools such as Codex, Claude and Cursor.

Now we’re working hard to complete a direct integration for OpenAI’s GPT/Codex ecosystem. It is still in progress and subject to OpenAI’s approval, but we’re excited about the possibility.

Our thinking is that, in an agent-first world, users should be able to connect their own AI workflows directly to real measurement: how AI systems mention or recommend their brand, the evidence behind those answers, and an actionable plan for what to investigate next.

I’d really value an honest founder perspective:

• Would this feel like a positive differentiator, a nice bonus, or an essential part of a modern SaaS product?

• Would you actually use an AI agent to review visibility data and help turn it into actions?

• What would make this integration genuinely useful rather than just another AI feature?

We’re not assuming the answer — we want to build the connection in a way that fits real workflows.
