    What is Parkspot Stockholm?

ParkSpot’s edge: it highlights streets where cleaning service just ended or is coming up soon — the moments when streets are empty. Built on Stockholm’s open data, it shows legal parking rules in real time. It covers motorcycle (MC) and disabled bays too. No other app points you to the streets most likely to have a free spot right now. No ads, no account, just a webservice.

    What it solves
    • Finds parking with better chance of an available parking spot.
    • Transform parking rules into easy understandable visualisation.
    • Shows dedicated street parking for MC for people with reduced mobility on a map
    • Shows nearest Parking garage
    How it works
    • Click on the map where you want to go. Click on the nearest street and navigate
    • Shows just ended and coming weekly street service -realtime. Often empty streets.
    • 3 modes: Car, motorcycle and disabled bays.
    • Shows nearest parking garage if streets are full

    What's New

vParkSpot v1.5.9 — Bicycle/moped support, more accurate legality, cleaner mapLatest Release

ParkSpot is a free map showing exactly where it's legal to park in Stockholm right now, tonight, or overnight — plus parking garages as a fallback. This update adds two-wheeler support and fixes a batch of accuracy and usability issues.

    New

    • Bicycle & moped (class 2) parking now has its own map layer, separate from car spots

    • Motorcycle, disabled-permit, and bicycle pins show live street-cleaning status (just cleaned / cleaning soon / cleaning now) — previously only cars had this

I build small, useful web apps in my spare time — tools I wish existed. My main project is ParkSpot, a free, smart web app that helps people in Stockholm find free street parking. No sign-ups, no fees, just a simple map showing where you can park without paying. By day I work in B2B software sales with a key account background, so I care about solving real problems simply — not adding features for their own sake.
