    vParkSpot v1.5.9 — Bicycle/moped support, more accurate legality, cleaner mapLatest Release

    ParkSpot is a free map showing exactly where it's legal to park in Stockholm right now, tonight, or overnight — plus parking garages as a fallback. This update adds two-wheeler support and fixes a batch of accuracy and usability issues.

    New

    • Bicycle & moped (class 2) parking now has its own map layer, separate from car spots

    • Motorcycle, disabled-permit, and bicycle pins show live street-cleaning status (just cleaned / cleaning soon / cleaning now) — previously only cars had this

    Quick update since I first posted here — two things shipped that change how the map feels:

    The map used to just say "legal" or "cleaning tomorrow, move it." Now if a street has 2–7 hours left before its next cleaning, it gets a highlighted glow — reframed from "avoid" to "opportunity," since a short stay there is often fine and it's genuinely less contested than the streets everyone already flocks to.

    New feature: bus stop markers. Stockholm's data doesn't reliably flag no-parking zones around bus stops on its own, so I pulled in OSM bus stop locations and flag them directly on the map — tap one and it tells you parking there is likely prohibited, check the sign.

    Still trying to figure out if this solves a real problem or is just a fun one to build — comments here keep helping with that.
