I built a free AI wellness companion for UAE expats — Lumi is live 🌿Hey everyone — I just launched Find Your Reset and would love some eyes on it from founders who get the early stage grind.What I built and who it's for:Lumi is a free AI daily companion for expats living in the UAE. Every morning she sends a warm personal reset, a guided audio practice, and a space to log small wins. No app, lives in Telegram, 2 minutes to start.What was hardest to get right:The tone. Every wellness app sounds either clinical or fake-cheerful. Getting Lumi to feel like a genuinely caring friend — not a bot, not a therapist — took more iteration than any feature.What I need support with:Honest feedback on retention. My early users say they love it — but most don't come back daily. I haven't cracked the habit trigger yet.The question I'd love a thread on:When you hear "daily wellness habit" — what's the real reason you've never stuck with one? Not the excuse you tell yourself. The actual reason.

I'm Sameer 👋I'm an entrepreneur based in Dubai, and I recently launched Find Your Reset — a free AI daily wellness companion for expats living in the UAE.What I built:Meet Lumi — an AI companion that shows up every morning with a guided audio practice, a warm personal reset, and a space to log small wins. No app needed, lives in Telegram, takes 2 minutes to start.Who it's for:Expats in the UAE who are far from home, carrying a lot, and never quite have time for themselves. The big wellness apps weren't built for our life here — so I built something that was.Why I started:I kept watching people around me — capable, driven, far from home — quietly running on empty. Still showing up, still performing, but burning out inside. I wanted to build something small that just showed up for them every day and said "hey, I see you."The moment that made it worth building: a tester messaged Lumi saying "I feel a little nervous today." Five minutes after the breathing exercise they said "yes, a little better now." That was it.What I'm working on next:Building out the full web app so anyone can access Lumi without needing Telegram — removing the last barrier to entry. Happy to connect with any founders building in wellness, AI, or the expat space. 🌿
