I’m Sahil. I didn’t come from a fancy background. No fancy school, no business family, no exposure to this world. But I’ve always had one thing, I know that if I step into something, I’m not gonna stay unknown for long. I started with content. Built my audience from scratch. Now I’m getting into products, tech and business. I don’t know how many things I’ll end up building, but I know one thing: whatever field I enter, I’m gonna make sure people know my name. And yeah, I’m probably just getting

Ai content is why nobody trusts founders anymore

Strong claim, hear me out.Every founder update reads the same now. "excited to share," emoji bullets, fake vulnerability about the rollercoaster. doesn't matter if it's real or not, it all sounds identical.Noticed this hard while hiring. read every dm myself for a growth role. most were obviously ai-generated, same tone, zero thought put in. the ones that stood out were rough, specific, clearly written by someone who actually looked at the problem first.Think the same thing's eating founder credibility. people used to trust a post because it sounded like someone actually figured something out.Now half of linkedin sounds like the same prompt wearing different names, so nobody believes the "authentic journey" post anymore, they just scroll past it as content. Not anti-ai, use it daily. just think we've optimized founder voice into something nobody actually trusts and most people haven't clocked it yet.Curious if that's just me being cynical from too many dms this week or if others feel it too.

Killed our pricing today. banalo.business is free now

No subscriptions, no paywalls. one cap, ai chatbot at 15 requests/day. rest is open.Anyone who paid before today keeps it forever, unlimited ai chats, lifetime. wasn't going to let early trust turn into a downgrade.Got our first angel investor on board recently, so there's actual runway to spend right now. Rs499 from a handful of people teaches me less than hundreds of people actually using this and telling me what's wrong. easy trade.Go poke around, break something, tell me what sucks.

Found a bug on product hunt, made me think about trust issues these small things cause

15 days into product hunt, still new to all this and already found a bug. refresh your own post enough times and the view count keeps climbing, that's not a new viewer, that's just me hitting refresh.Small thing, but stuff like this quietly damages trust once people notice, especially on a platform where rankings actually matter.Honestly was shocked, this platform's been around for years and somehow nobody caught this yet.Made me think about saas hive too. i know how hard it actually is to build a platform like this from scratch, so no shade at all.But if someone from the team is reading this, genuinely just want to say, invest in a good QA tester early. small bugs like this are the kind of thing that quietly chip away at trust before anyone even realizes why.not complaining about either platform, just think this stuff deserves attention before it becomes a bigger trust issue.

Is SaaS Hive quietly the better community for genuine engagement?

Launched Banalo on product hunt today, but honestly, i'm getting better traction here on saas hive. Not sure if that's just me being new to both platforms, or if this community genuinely has more people who want to actually engage rather than just scroll and upvote.Curious if others have felt the same difference between the two.Still figuring out how both platforms actually work, so would genuinely love your honest opinion on this.Does saas hive tend to have deeper engagement, or did i just get lucky with the people who saw my post?

Unpopular opinion: your first 10 users matter more than your first 100

Everyone chases signup numbers early on. i think that's backwards.10 people who actually use your product and complain about it teach you more than 100 who signed up and forgot you exist.I've got 8 paying users right now for BanaloBusiness. haven't even scaled outreach yet, just been obsessing over what those 8 actually do inside the product.Curious what others think, early on do you optimize for more users, or deeper usage from fewer?

"Build it and they will come" is dangerous advice

"build it and they will come" is the most dangerous startup advice for first-timers.sell it before you build it. then build.I posted an idea with zero product behind it.300+ people said yes in 72 hours. that's when i started building.Did anyone else build first and wish you'd checked demand earlier? or am i just late to this realization...

I had a perfume problem. Unfortunately, I decided to solve it.

I’m Sahil from a small village in Himachal. 10 days ago, I didn’t know how web apps worked, couldn’t code. I was trying to start a perfume brand and got stuck in the same mess every new founder probably hates: suppliers, oils, bottles, packaging, pricing, legal stuff… 20 tabs open and still no idea what to do.So I came up with Banalo.BusinessThere was just one problem: my friend, who could actually build it, was busy with his own product 😭So I did the only thing I knew how to do.I started selling the idea before we even had the product. I posted about it on social media. Within 72 hours, 300+ people messaged saying they wanted it.I showed my friend. Then basically moved into his workspace until we launched. 😂2 days ago, Banalo went live.6 people have already paid ₹499.The product is still rough. I know there’s a lot to improve. But I learned something I didn’t know 10 days ago:You don’t always need the product first. Sometimes you just need to find out if people want it badly enough. Now the real fun starts. What would you build next if this was yours?Tell me what’s missing, what’s useless or what you’d completely rip apart.I’m actually listening...👀
