Back after 2 months — building the Omegle for learning

Hey everyone! 👋It’s been around 2 months since I last posted on SaaS Hive. After launching PulseBoard here, I went quiet for a while — not because I stopped building, but because I started working on something completely different.I’ve been building Lernn. The original inspiration actually came from Omegle. What fascinated me about Omegle was the idea that you could meet someone, from anywhere in the world, at almost any time.I started thinking:What if we could bring that same instant, global accessibility to learning? What if anyone could come online anytime and learn something from someone who knows it — or teach something they know and earn from it?You could be a learner today, an educator tomorrow, or both at the same time. That's the idea behind Lernn.Learners can:• Find relevant educators through AI-powered matching• Book private 1-to-1 sessions• Join one-to-many live sessions• Discover public learning sessions• Learn directly from real peopleThe long-term vision is simple:Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime. Learn or teach.I'm now putting the product in front of real learners and educators and starting to validate whether this idea actually works in the real world.Feels good to be back on SaaS Hive after a couple of months.Would love to hear what you think — especially if you'd use something like this yourself.

    Your incident response is broken

When your app goes down, the first question is always the same: "What changed?" But answering that question means checking GitHub, Slack, AWS, and your monitoring tool—all separately. It takes 30+ minutes of context switching. We built PulseBoard's new Event Timeline to fix this. One unified feed. Every deployment, commit, incident, workflow, and infrastructure event. Chronologically. Color-coded. Filterable. You see exactly what changed—and when—in under 10 seconds. No more guesswork. No more chaos. Just clear evidence of what broke and who to ask about it.Ship with confidence. Investigate with clarity.

Today we shipped one of the biggest upgrades to PulseBoard.

PulseBoard now understands deployments across:✅ Vercel✅ Render✅ RailwayWhen an incident happens, AI shouldn't just tell you that your website is down.It should understand what changed. Now PulseBoard can correlate deployment activity with incidents to help answer questions like:• Was there a deployment just before the outage?• Which platform deployed it?• What changed around the incident?• Is the deployment likely related to the failure? This is another step toward the vision behind PulseBoard:Less guessing. More evidence-based incident investigation.

Working on a new feature for PulseBoard

Most uptime tools send weekly reports full of numbers:• Uptime %• Response times• Incident countUseful... but they still leave you asking:"What actually happened this week?"Instead of another statistics email, I'm experimenting with something different.Every week, users will receive an email with a single button:🤖 Generate AI Weekly SummaryOne click generates an AI-powered analysis of the week's monitoring data, highlighting trends, anomalies, reliability insights, and the events that actually mattered. The idea is simple: spend less time reading metrics and more time understanding your infrastructure.Still designing the experience, but I think weekly reports should explain—not just report.Would you click a button like that instead of reading a page full of metrics?

🚀 Vigil AI is now on npm — AI-powered website health intelligence for every app

Today I launched the Vigil AI NPM package. The goal was simple: make website health intelligence accessible to every developer with almost zero friction.import { analyzeSite } from "vigil-ai"; const report = await analyzeSite("https://example.com", { apiKey: "your_api_key" }); Instead of building SSL checks, security header analysis, performance checks, and AI-powered website insights from scratch, you can get a complete report in a single API call. What it includes:🔒 SSL certificate analysis🛡️ Security header checks⚡ Performance insights🌐 Website health analysis🤖 AI-powered summaries and recommendations📊 Individual functions or a full reportThis is the first step toward making Vigil AI the developer platform behind PulseBoard—so developers can integrate website health intelligence directly into their own products, scripts, and workflows.I'd love to hear what you'd build with it and any feedback you have on the developer experience.

PulseBoard also has live status badges — embed them anywhere

Hey SaaS Hive 👋If you're running a website, API, or service, you can now embed a live status badge anywhere:🟢 Live Status Badge → for your website, docs, or profile🔌 Public Status API → for programmatic access📖 GitHub README Badge → for your open-source projectsHere's a working example:https://www.pulseboard.haseeb.work/api/status/87a14fa3-f67c-4e7b-9dac-c133ba88fde5/badge.svgJust paste the URL — it updates automatically based on real-time checks. If you've ever wanted to show your users or customers that your service is actually live, this is the easiest way to do it.Would love to see where you embed yours. That moment when a "simple" database change turns into a 3-day rabbit hole

Hey SaaS Hive 👋Have you ever started what you thought was a straightforward schema change and ended up deep in a rabbit hole for days? That was me this week.I needed to add some new functionality to PulseBoard — nothing crazy, just a few new fields and a new table. Should have been a couple of hours.Instead, I spent 3 days untangling:Foreign key constraints I forgot existedData backfills for existing usersInconsistent column names across tablesUI cache showing tables that didn't actually existMigrations failing in unexpected waysI eventually got it sorted, but it was a good reminder that databases are unforgiving. You can't "kind of" migrate data — it either works or it doesn't.What's the most unexpected thing that's broken during a migration for you?I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been here. 😅

PulseBoard — AI that investigates why your site broke (real 404 breakdown)

Hey SaaS Hive 👋I've been building PulseBoard — an uptime monitor that doesn't just alert you, but actually explains what went wrong.Wanted to share a real example from a live site recently. Not a demo — this actually happened.📉 The Incident:404 error at 04:10:01 UTCUptime dropped to 93% (baseline 95.8%)🔍 Vigil AI scored 3 commits:1. Commit df9f721 (04:07:00 UTC) — Score: 96/100→ File indexolderbcvvvededehdeh.html was deleted2. Commit 3b24abd (04:11:47 UTC) — Score: 40/100→ CSS/JS links were commented out3. Commit 5694025 (04:10:52 UTC) — Score: 35/100→ New HTML with broken syntax was created🧠 What Vigil found:"Deletion of indexolderbcvvvededehdeh.html caused a 404 — likely a broken reference on the root page."💡 Why this worked:✅ Commit deployed 3 minutes before the 404✅ Later commits correctly ruled out✅ Clear evidence chain: deployment → file deletion → 404🛠️ Actionable fix:Check index.html for references to the deleted file.Alert → evidence → root cause → fix in under a minute.Would love your feedback:Does this solve a real problem for you?How do YOU currently debug outages?Happy to answer any questions. 🙏

PulseBoard is evolving into an AI incident investigation platform

Quick builder update 👋I've spent the last few weeks improving the part of monitoring that I think is actually the hardest:Understanding incidents.Monitoring tools already do a great job telling us something failed. The difficult part is figuring out why.Recent improvements include:• GitHub integration for deployment and commit correlation• AI-generated commit summaries that are cached and reused across future investigations• Evidence-based incident analysis using monitoring data, historical incidents, deployment timing, and repository context• A custom AI batching system with priority queues, retries, circuit breakers, and provider failover• Vigil now explicitly says "Cause unknown from available data" whenever the evidence isn't strong enough. One thing I've learned while building this:A wrong AI answer during an outage is worse than admitting uncertainty.I'd love to hear how other founders approach incident investigations today.
